Aquino's Birrieria started as a small pop up kitchen in the Seaside Community, aiming to provide the best Mexican Food in Monterey, California. But as we grew a larger and larger following, the lines around our pop up kitchen became too hard to keep up with. We knew we needed to expand into a restaurant space to be able to serve our awesome customers more of our Famous Tacos, Mexican Food, Breakfast, & Brunch food every day.

First time having birria and it was SO GOOD!!! today I had the birria súper burrito and the flavor was so delicious, the meat was so flavorful, I couldn’t stop singing Aquinos praises while eating. So happy to have Aquinos in the neighborhood, such high quality flavor. My new favorite Mexican food restaurant in the Monterey Bay Area by a long shot!!

Probably the best Mexican food I have had (and I come from a Mexican family). The quesabirria tacos and consume are amazing, but make sure to order enough for your appetite because they are smaller tacos. Everything is priced great and the food came out fast. If you are in Monterey, you definitely need to try them.

Soooooo freaking yummy! We finally tried this place after hearing raving reviews and I am so happy we did. This is our new favorite. You will not find anything better in all of Monterey. I am OBSESSED with the quesaburria tacos. Unbelievably delicious and flavorful. Good quality ingredients cooked perfectly. I don’t know if I can ever go back to eating a taco anywhere else now.
